Russell C. Myers Jr - Class of 1960
Russell C. Myers Jr passed away peacefully in his home of Chalfont, PA on Friday January 13, 2023 at the
age of 80. Russell is predeceased by his wife, Larraine (nee Fuhr) who passed away in 2004.
Russell earned his Diploma as a Machinist from The Williamson School of Mechanical Trades in 1963. He
served his country with pride in the US Army, honorably discharged in December of 1967. He married
the love of his life on June 1 st , 1969, and together Larraine and Russ had two children and built a
beautiful life in Bucks County PA. He worked in his trade until his much-deserved retirement. He
enjoyed playing golf with so many golf buddies, camping, being the grill “master” at all the family
picnics, spaghetti dinners, crossword/jigsaw puzzles, and spending time with his Grandchildren. Russell
(aka Grand Dad) shared his love of Sci-fi movies with his Granddaughter and filling the candy dispensers
with M&Ms and toys with batteries for his Grandsons.
He is survived by his daughter, Linda Myers of Warminster, Russell C Myers III and his wife Megan of
Coatesville, and his loving grandchildren Russell, Jacob and Claire; brother of Thomas Myers (Elaine),
Diane Higgins (John) and Gene Myers (Jeannie) as well as many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing from 10 to 11 AM Friday January 20, 2023 followed
by his service at 11 AM at Sanctuary United Methodist Church 1346 E Prospect Ave North Wales, PA.
19454. Interment at Beulah Cemetery, New Britain, PA.
