Thomas passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2018.

Thomas was a resident of Northeast, Pennsylvania at the time of passing.

Born in Philadelphia to the late John and Edith West, Tom graduated from Mastbaum High School.

He then enlisted in the United States Navy, where he served as an Electrician's Mate, 3rd Class in the Atlantic Theater of World War II from 1944-1946 and earned a European Theater Ribbon, an American Theater Ribbon, and the Victory Medal.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 10:00 AM, Helweg & Rowland Funeral Home, 1059 Old York Road, Abington, where relatives and friends will be received from 9:15 until the time of the service. Interment will follow the service in Forest Hills Cemetery, Huntingdon Valley.
