It is with GREAT sadness that both myself and my husband see the notice of Glenn Belmont!  We were literally talking about her 4 days ago with my husband's grown daughter who remembers her when she was a child.  You see, not only was Glenn a great friend but she was friend to the MATOS family for many years.  My husband worked with Glenn's husband for a while.  Glenn was also my (Josefina Matos') PE teacher while at Mastbaum.  What a wonderful human being, always there for her students, always ready to talk things out with "the girls" when we had problems, issues or questions about life!  Always the consummate human being, the lover of life and the athlete....heck, she taught me to play volleyball and forgave me when I couldn't hold on to the "rings" during yearly testing because I had just come from allergy desensitizing needles (250 needles in each arm!) because my arms were so sore.  We visited her home, talked for hours and my husband was so much a part of their lives, as they were his.  RIP our dear Glenn.  It saddens us to hear this almost just "one month" from your passing. We live in Florida but would have sent our eldest daughter to represent the Matos family at services as she's still in Phila.
