Mr. Lauriello and I lived in the same neighborhood ( Roslyn, Pa.) at the time of his death. I never had the opportunity to meet him but I remember that devastating storm. We had so much rain in a short amount of time. Others in the neighborhood died also . It was awful.

Was a great inspiration in my life. He may have sometimes been fussy and cranky but taught me to master my craft and always pushed me to my limits inbetween yelling at me for talking to the usual suspects. Ildelis, Mike, David, Tara, Shields Maria and the others

We used to call him Louie De Palma because he resembled him. He once told me I had a unique take on perspective drawings. I also lived in Roslyn, PA from 1981-1983. I stayed in Abington Township until 1995. Fun times with Mr. Lauriello.

He was absolutely the BEST. He could really get people inspired and excited about projects. I really considered him a friend and students could talk with him about anything. I always remember getting tea biscuits and tea at Geiger Bakery at the corner of Clearfield and Frankford Ave. and we would take turns buying. Just a really great person and have throughout my life always talked about the great times we had at school. So sad to see this. Godspeed, John.
