Mr. Kuvik was one of the loudest, funniest teachers I have ever had.  He didn't care who he offended.  The banter between he and Mr. Mosley was legendary.

Mr. Kuvik was the teacher of Driver's Education at Mastbaum AVT High School in 1972.

Mr Kuvik was my Driver's Education teacher.  He was a funny guy. One time when I was in the driver's seat of the VW BUG, we were at the corner of Frankford and Clearfield waiting at a red light. A couple of my friends were on the corner ribbing me. When the light turned green, Mr Kovic, in the passenger seat, which also had a steering wheel and pedals, messed with the clutch so that the car jumped it's way through the intersection. My friends died laughing.

Mr. Kuvik was an awesome guy/teacher. We need more teachers like this man today. Perhaps public schools wouldn't be the train wrecks they are today.

He was one of my favorite teachers. He was so funny and cool, yet serious about education during my years at Mastbaum. (1982-1985) Rest in peace, Sir.
