Patricia Farley (DiBelardino)

Patricia Ann Farley DiBelardino - Class of 1967
DiBelardino Patricia Ann passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at the age of 71. She is survived by her husband, Dominic; her son Anthony; her son Dominic (Lito); her daughter Lynsey (Mel); her sister and lifelong best friend Maureen AKA Bubbles; her late brother Jim (Patricia); her nieces and nephews, Joey, Jill, Jim, Cara, Bridget and Erin. The list of family and extended family that loved her could go on forever. A lifetime resident of Philadelphia, she was born on October 5, 1949 to James and Annette Farley. She met her future husband while she was in high school attending Jules E Mastbaum. The two eloped and began their life together on August 22, 1969. They opened a little store in the neighborhood, Pat & Dom's on the corner of Stella and Amber. Patsy, with her huge heart, was beloved by many a neighborhood kid looking to buy penny candy with buttons, to which she always obliged. They closed the store with the arrival of their first child. She worked for many years for KenCCID caring for several patients with mental disabilities. During these years she forged many lifelong friendships with several colleagues. She was truly a free spirit and her passions were as unpredictable as the wind. She loved her slot machines in Atlantic City as well as poetry, music, horror movies, drawing and painting, reading and animals. You would find her most any evening listening to Janis Joplin, drawing or painting and surrounded by her fur babies. She will be remembered for her kindness, warmth and easy laughter. To know Patsy was to love her. Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass Only January 18th 10:00 AM at Nativity BVM Church 2535 E. Allegheny Ave. Phila., PA 19134. Interment Private.
