John J. Diviny age 64 passed away on July 1, 2013. Cherished husband of Retta (Johnston). Beloved father of Lorraine (James) Smith, Sean (Tracy) Diviny and Jenna (Joseph) Knox. Devoted P-Pop of Jimmy, John, Isla, Keane and Brendan. Loving son of Margaret Miller and the late John Diviny. Brother of Theresa (Thomas) Dunphy, Alice (Dave) Benson, Frances (James) Wolf, Denise (James) Friel, Angeline (Joseph) Brown, Karen (Gary) Hartman, Lisa (Joseph) Keller and the late Margaret Borger. Brother of the heart to Charles Borger, Donald Cory, Kenneth (Judith) Johnston, Johanna (Ernest) Cimino, Lorraine (Luke) Dwyer. He will be forever and dearly missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Tuesday, July 9, 2013, 7 PM to 9 PM and Wednesday, July 10, 2013, from 8 AM to 9 AM, (Personal readings Wednesday at 8:30 AM) at Lambie Funeral Home 8000 Rowland Avenue (At Rhawn Street). Mass of Christian Burial 9:30 am at St. Jerome’s R.C. Church 8100 Colfax Street. Interment and Military Honors will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery 11:30 am.
