Edythe Stotz (Asman) - Class Of 1963

Mrs. Edythe T. Asman, 72, of Bear Creek Lakes, Jim Thorpe, Pa. passed away Tuesday, October 10th at The Gnaden Huetten Hospital, Lehighton, Pa. She was the wife of Charles J. Asman Sr. They were married for 52 years last October 24th, 2016. Born in Philadelphia, Pa. she was a daughter of the late Jacob & Edythe (Keller) Stotz. Edythe was employed as a hairdresser for many years and most recently was employed by The United States Census Bureau as a recorder of statistics. She attended Mass at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Jim Thorpe, Pa. A family oriented person, she enjoyed spending time with her loving family & looked forward to visit’s from her grandchildren & great-grandchildren. Surviving in addition to her husband  is a daughter, Kelly Asman of Philadelphia, Pa., 2 sons, Charles “Chuck” Asman Jr. & his wife Karen of West Palm Beach, Florida, Scott Asman  & his wife Kelly Ann of Souderton, Pa., 5 grandchildren, Brooke, Kellie, Melissa, Chase, Casey, 2 great-grandchildren, Alex, Charlotte “Charley”, nieces & nephews. A Celebration Of Life/Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 18th at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 526 North Street, Jim Thorpe, Pa. with the Reverend Francis J. Baransky officiating. Call 9-10 a.m. on Wednesday in the church. The interment will be private in the future in Forest Hills Cemetery, Byberry Road, Huntington Valley, Pa..
