Leon A. Soltysiak, Jr.

Leon "Lee" Soltysiak, Jr. passed away on June 2, 2016 at Hope hospice in Cape Coral, Florida. He was 72 years old. Originally from Philadelphia, PA, Lee was born to parents, Leon Sr. and Ada Soltysiak and graduated from Mastbaum High School. After serving in the United States Army, he enjoyed a successful career as a communication consultant with AT&T. Lee was an avid golfer, and held memberships with the Masons, Moose, and Elks Clubs. He was the Past Commander of Cape Coral Sail and Power Squadron. Lee will be dearly missed by his beloved wife of 34 years, Suzanne Soltysiak; son, Leon Soltysiak, III and wife Christian; daughter, Jennifer Soltysiak; and grandson, William. A visitation will be held on Friday, June 10, 2016 from 2PM to 4PM at the Fuller Metz Funeral Home Chapel on Del Prado Blvd. South in Cape Coral. Interment will be on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 11AM at Coral Ridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to be sent to the Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS) Foundation www.mds-foundation.org or to Hope Hospice at www.hopehospice.org.
