Jeanne L. Taylor Montijo - Class of 1958

Jeanne L. Taylor Montijo, age 85, of Philadelphia, passed away on Wednesday January 21, 2026 at Jefferson Torresdale Hospital. Born on January 17, 1941 to the late Frances (Barrett) and Elwood H. Taylor, Jr., Jeanne was a lifelong resident of the city. She was a 1958 graduate of Jules E. Mastbaum High School. Jeanne was employed for many years as an aid in the cafeteria at Labrum Middle School. She enjoyed traveling, cooking and baking, mostly, she enjoyed spending time with her family. Beloved wife of the late Ernest "Ray" Montijo, Jeanne is survived by her children Raymond ( Annmarie) Montijo, Greg ( Patricia Riley) Montijo, Marc ( Stacey Boyle) Montijo, her grandchildren Paige, Raymond, Noah, Lauren and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend her Life Celebration on Thursday January 29, 2026 from 10 to 11 Am at the John F. Givnish Funeral Home 10975 Academy Rd. Phila., Pa. 19154, where her funeral service will begin at 11Am. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park in Feasterville.
