Richard Allen Crossley

Richard Allen Crossley, 77, of Gouldsboro, died Tuesday at Geisinger Community Medical Center. He was the husband of Marion Gwynn Crossley and they were married for 43 years.

Born in Philadelphia, son of the late Harry and Marie Gill Crossley, he graduated from Jules E. Mastbaum Area Vocational Technical in Philadelphia and was a military police officer in the Army. Before retiring, Richard worked at SKF Group as a machinist. He was a past member of the Improved Order of the Red Men and was currently a member of Gouldsboro United Methodist Church. Richard enjoyed hunting and fishing with his children.

Also surviving are his children, Richard Allen Crossley Jr., Robert Anthony Crossley Sr., Robert Richard Blackney Jr. and Beth Anne Young; grandchildren, Michael, Robert, Christopher, Ryelle, Robert Jr., Tagen, Angus and Sanga; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by six brothers and a sister.

The funeral service will be Saturday at 1 p.m. in Gouldsboro United Methodist Church, 495 Main St. Military honors will be rendered following the service and interment will be private.

Viewing will be Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Gouldsboro UMC, 495 Main St., Gouldsboro, PA 18424.
