Ruth died on September 11, 2009 at Tuscany House in Summerfield, FL. Memorial services to be held on Sunday, September 27, 2009 at First Congregational United Church of Christ 7173 SW Hwy 200 at 12:00 noon. Donations can be sent to Hospice of Marion County, PO Box 4860, Ocala, Fl. Ruth was born in Philadelphia, PA and worked as a social worker for Hospice of Marion County when she moved to FL. She leaves behind a husband, Robert, daughters, Lisa Marie Preidl and Patricia Irene Smith; son in law, Daniel Smith; two grandsons, Andrew Robert Smith and Brian Patrick Smith; four brothers and one sister as well as many nieces and nephews and dear friends.
