JOHN A. ZEIGER 

ZEIGER JOHN A. Age 86, passed away on Monday, June 13, 2022, in his sleep from dementia. Survived by his wife, Rita K. Zeiger (nee Kempczynski) and their children, Marge Zeiger McCahon, Michael Zeiger (Karen), Trish Zeiger Houck, Beth Giorla (Jim), Susan Zeiger Bowman, Johnny Zeiger, Robert Zeiger (Denise), and Rosie Dorfman (Brandon). Also survived by his nephew, Bill Zeiger, predeceased by his niece and goddaughter, Barbara Ann Garcia (Julio), great-niece Amanda and Rita's nephews, Wally Kempczynski (Tricia), Joey Kempo (Donna) and Stephen Kempczynski (Susan). Sadly missed by 18 grandchildren, predeceased by 2 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, many other relatives and friends. John graduated high school from Jules E. Mastbaum as president of the class of 1951 and from Penn State University, class of 1955, with a degree in Physics. He initially used his degree to do work that he really enjoyed at the Franklin Institute and then at Philco-Ford. He finished his career working as a CNC programmer first at Laneko Engineering and then retired from Boeing. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Monday, June 20, 2022 beginning at 9 A.M. at the St. John Cantius Chapel, 4410 E. Thompson St., Phila., PA 19137. Funeral Mass to follow at 11 A.M. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the charity of your choice is preferred.
