Dorothy J. “Bonnie”, “Bunny” Donohue, age 83, of Pittsgrove, NJ passed away peacefully on July 9, 2021.

Legacy

Bonnie was born in Philadelphia and lived in Washington Township, New Jersey for 23 years where she and her husband, “Herky”, raised their two sons.  Bonnie’s lifelong love of dance led her to open her own dance studio in the mid 1970s.  Miss Bonnie, as her dance girls called her, was like a second mom to them.  Her dance recitals were more like Broadway productions, and she made everyone feel like they were the star of the show.

Family

Bonnie is survived by her two devoted sons, Christopher and Jay (Denise) along with many adoring family and friends.  She is now reunited with her loving husband of 62 years and number one dance partner, Herky, dancing together for all eternity.

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited are to attend Bonnie’s visitation on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at 5:00 PM in the McGuinness Funeral Home – Washington Township, 573 Egg Harbor Rd.  A Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home at 7:00 PM.  At the request of the family, interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bonnie’s name to the Gloucester County Animal Shelter, 1200 North Delsea Drive, Clayton, NJ  08312.
