Elwood L. Heim of Warminster passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2024. He was 87 years old. Elwood was the beloved husband of Florence K. Heim with whom he had shared over 64years of marriage. He was born in Philadelphia, PA and son of the late George and Laura Heim.
In addition to his wife Elwood is survived by his loving Children, Scott Heim and his wife Barbara and Christine and her partner Douglas Martin, Grandchildren, Lauren Prendergast and her husband Thomas, Rebecca Coulter and her husband Charles, Kyle and his wife Shannon, Jacqueline, Katelyn, Shannon and Nicholas, Great Grandchildren; Kendall and Riley Prendergast, Davis and Owen Coulter and JoLynn, and Daughter-In-Law Joanne Heim. In addition to his parents Elwood was predeceased by a Son; David Heim; a sister; Laura Dillard and a brother, George Heim.
Elwood was a loving and devoted husband who enjoyed going to all of his children's and Grandchildren's sporting and performance events. He was an avid woodworker, craftsman, home builder, creator and skier. He enjoyed traveling and being an active member of Warminster Presbyterian Church. Elwood also served proudly in the U.S. Navy.
Relatives and friends will be received by his family on Wednesday, December 4th after 10:00 a.m. in Warminster Presbyterian Church, 500 Madison Avenue, Warminster, PA 18974 followed by his Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow immediately in the Memorial Garden. In lieu of flowers memorials in Elwood's memory may be made to the church mentioned above.
