LEONBERGER, Carl

84, died Aug. 3, 2018. He is survived by his brother, Albert Leonberger, Jr., his ex-wife, Evalyn R. Leonberger; his children, Glenn A. Leonberger (Laura) and Jean L. Horn (Richard); two grandchildren, Bethany R. Douty (Michael) and Jordan C. Conner (Ben); great-grandchildren, Alexander, William and Emilia Kay. Carl was a Navy veteran USS Truckee 1955 to 1957, plus six years in the Navy Reserves. Carl was an airline mechanic with Allegheny Airlines / USAirways for 32 years (International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers) before retiring to Seminole Florida in 1998. Previously he worked for Capital Airways in Arlington VA, worked as a skilled cabinet maker and owned a pet store in Philadelphia, his birthplace. Carl was active with his family, a trustee of Dutilh United Methodist Church, Cranberry Township, PA, a Boy Scout leader, Little League Baseball Coach, and a member of the Seminole Garden Men's Club.
