Joan Shields passed away Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2016 in Lansdale, Pa. surrounded by her loving family. She was 85. Born in Philadelphia, she moved to Levittown in 1955. Joan worked as an administrative assistant at various companies. She retired in 2002 from Bristol Township L & I. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert M. Shields Jr. Joan will be greatly missed by her two sons, Robert Shields and his wife, Dianne, and William Shields and his wife, Andria. She will also be greatly missed by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
