Aurora Cavalieri

Aurora Caluag Cavalieri of Richboro, Pennsylvania, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at St. Mary Medical Center.

Aurora was the beloved wife of 51 years to Lee M. Cavalieri.

Born in the Philippines, she was the daughter of the late Dr. Jose and Vicenta Dimaliuat Caluag.

Aurora was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and friend. She was a Devout Catholic and practiced her faith as an active parishioner of St. Vincent de Paul Church in Richboro. She was a selfless person who gave of herself constantly to help others in need. Aurora was also active at her church and served as an altar server and headed the Martha’s ministry to clean the church every Friday. She would also be willing to help in other positions as needed at church. She was a teacher of mathematics and department head for 30 years in the Philadelphia School District and also taught 10 years in the Philippines. Aurora will be greatly missed, and eternally loved and remembered by everyone who has had the pleasure to have known her and been loved by her.

In addition to her husband Lee, Aurora is survived by her two loving sons, Vincent and James Cavalieri. She is also survived by her sisters, Lourdes Molina, Angelita Cruz, and Paulina Santos; brothers-in-law, Alfredo Molina and David Dancer; sisters-in-law, Deborah Cavalieri, Francis Cavalieri, Josephine Caluag, and Consuelo Caluag; and over 40 nephews and nieces.

Aurora is now in heaven with Jose (father), Vicenta (mother), Erlinda (sister), Josefina (sister), Renato (brother), Jose (brother), Hernando (brother), Delfin Cruz (brother-in-law), Valentino Cavalieri (brother-in-law), Juanito Cruz (brother-in-law), Enrique Santos (brother-in-law), Augusta Soliven Caluag (sister-in-law), and Mateo and Mafalda Cavalieri (parents-in-law).

Aurora’s family will receive friends on Thursday, April 13, 2023, from 9:30 AM until her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM in St. Vincent de Paul Church, 654 Hatboro Road (at Tanyard Road), Richboro, PA 18954 and at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, 591 New Jersey Avenue, Absecon, NJ 08201 on April 21, 2023, from 9:00 AM until her Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Her interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor, 5300 Chester Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19143.
