Charlie A. Tucker, age 70, of Millville, NJ, passed away on Wednesday October 25, 2023 at St. Mary's Center for Rehabilitation & Healthcare, Cherry Hill, NJ.
Charlie is predeceased by his parents Gloria (nee Sauer) and Charles Tucker, siblings Gloria Tucker and Robert Tucker, and step-mother Miriam (Christine) Tucker.
He is the beloved and proud father of Kyla Tucker (Mike McCool). He is the loving brother of Diane Wiedman (William Wiedman), Judith Herbert (Robert Herbert), James Henry (Donna Henry), Dianne Ralston (John Ralston), Richard Tucker (Wanda Tucker), and Clinton Henry. He is also survived and will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Charlie was born in Philadelphia, PA and resided in Atco, NJ for over 20 years before moving to Millville, in 2007. He worked in Technical Services for Kulicke & Soffa in Horsham, PA for many years. In his free time, Charlie enjoyed reading, gardening and attending live music events. He also enjoyed volunteering and supporting local causes such as the Christmas toy drive event hosted by CityTeam in Chester, PA each year.
A viewing will be held on Thursday November 2, 2023 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at the Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad St., Millville, NJ. A celebration of his life, family eulogy and time for sharing memories will begin at 5:00 pm. Charlie's family asks those attending to wear their favorite Hawaiian or Philadelphia Eagles shirts to honor him. Cremation will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Charlie's name to CityTeam in Chester, PA. More details below:
