Geraldine Szymkowski-Mager - Class of 1967

Szymkowski Geraldine Florence Age 73, passed away on December 6, 2021. Gerri was born in Philadelphia to the late Florence and Stanley Szymkowski. She is survived by her life partner, Kevin Ryan; children, Jennifer Mager, and Matthew Mager; grandchildren, Michael and Jenna Ruth, and Ciara Mager; and great-grandchild, Mia Ruth. Gerri is preceded in death by her son Anthony Mager (2019). Gerri was born and raised in Philadelphia. She was a K&A girl. She graduated from Little Flower H.S. She attended LaSalle for interior decorating and took medical coding classes. She worked for H.H. Rosinsky, became an insurance agent, worked in the offices of Sears Roebuck and Co., and lastly, retired from the Government working at the IRS. During the four years Jenn attended Little Flower she was the manager of the school store, aka The Flossie Shop. She was a mom to all. She especially enjoyed spending time with family, had a love for children, and frequently donated to animal shelters. Relatives and friends are invited to Gerri's Life Celebration on Saturday, December 18, 2021 from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at JOHN F. GIVNISH FUNERAL HOME, 10975 Academy Road, Philadelphia, PA 19154. A Prayer Service will begin at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be held at Resurrection Cemetery in Bensalem.
