The true definition of authenticity - undisputed and genuine. Our mom was such, and more. Despite what life placed in her path she fought and won.
To know Josephine Hannah was to love her. Jody, Jo, Mom, Mommom, Jody Mommom, Aunt Jody, and her all time favorite - Big Mommom, were some of the ways her love shined through.
Our mom was our compass - a symbol for guidance, pointing us in the right direction. The centerpiece of our family and the best “Bingo Caller” any of us could have asked for (O69 - OWWWWW)!
She was all of this and so much more. She will be missed by all... as anyone she touched felt her spirit, her genuineness, her bullheadedness, but most of all the abundance of love that radiated from within and fed all of our souls.
You are always with us. Thank you for making us all who we are today. We could not have done it without you!

I haven't seen anyone from our class of '64 in many years, but I absolutely remember Jody Hill for her constant smile and friendly disposition. (She always had the cutest haircut too. ) Reading her daughter Megan's tribute makes me believe she lived a good life and will be cherished and remembered. I recall Jody as a sweet, quiet girl and a friend. God Bless.
Edward Miller (Miller) (1964)
So sorry to hear of Jody's passing. We were good friends from Hackett Elementary, Penn Treaty Jr. High, and Mastbaum High. We played together as kids and waited for the City Bus together every morning at Frankford and Hagert to take us to Mastbaum. Jody was quiet and bashful. She was the sweetest of all our friends.To this day I circle the dot on my "i's". I learned this from Jody in Jr. High. I always remember her carrying her clarinet case to schoo!. She played one of the black ones. Anyone who ever crossed paths with her is blessed for having known such a wonderful spirit. Prayers for Jody and her family.- Ed Miller
