Joyce Bant Meagher - Class of 1964

Joyce Meagher (Bant) of Bridesburg in Philadelphia, 76 years old, passed away peacefully in her home on September 27, 2022. She is survived by her daughters Kimberly McKnight (Jerry) and Joyce Ferguson (Dennis) and her sister Arlene (George). Grandmother to Kristin, Kelly, Jessica, Dennis, and Caitlyn. Wife to the late Richard Meagher, USMC, who she loved dearly. Sister to her late brother Roy (Marion) and late sister Deanna. 

Joyce was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many. She loved her family and wasn't afraid to be the life of the party at family gatherings. She was always willing to help anyone in anyway she can. In the Summer, she enjoyed going to Cape May (dreamed of swimming with the dolphins) when she could and she was known for making her famous chili sauce in August. She was also an avid fan of Elvis and Kenny Rodgers. She loved dogs, reading, and crocheting. 

Services will be private per Joyce's request. However Joyce frequently donated to the Wounded Warrior Project. Donations may be sent to WWP in her name.
