Jay Alker - Class Of 1953

Jay Alker

Jay L. Alker of Ann’s Choice in Warminster passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at the Rose Garden at Ann’s Choice.  He was 84. 

Jay was the loving husband of the late Dolores Alker. 

Born in Philadelphia he was a son of the late Jacob and Clara Fuoss Alker. 

Jay served with the Air Force and later led a long career with PECO where he was employed as a dispatcher until his retirement.  Jay enjoyed coin collecting and model railroading and spent the last 14 years of his retirement as a resident of Ann’s Choice. 

Surviving are his children, Wesley J. Alker of Southampton and Gena L. Alker of Clearwater, Florida; his daughter-in-law, Ann Alker of Philadelphia; and his grandsons, Gregory and Kevin Alker. 

In addition to his wife and his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Arthur G. Alker.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather with Jay’s family on Monday, July 29, 2019 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.), Richboro, PA 18954.  His interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Feasterville.
