Sorry to announce the passing of Mr Adam Rolek, he taught social studies at Mastbaum for 35 years. He also during that time was Defensive coach and then Head coach of the Football team.

As a Sopomore Mr Rolek recruited me in class for the Football team, he inspired a Solid Work ethic, I remember the Day President Kennedy was killed we were plaing a JV game at Washington when word of the assasination came over a portable radio a younger kid had on the sidelines. I recall Mr Rolek's reaction and shocked expression, the man was genuine and sincere.
The one thing that can be said for his passing is that May He Rest in Peace as he really is now in a better place.
