BARRY PEAHOTA OBITUARY

Barry Leonard Peahota age 75, passed away on Jan 24th. He was the son of the late Stanley, and Ruth Peahota. Survived by, nephew Chris Haist and wife Lori with their children Hannah and Scott in Langhorne, PA; niece Kimberly Haist in Mt Laurel, N.J; niece Anna Prosser and husband Ricki Washington Township, NJ with their children Denise and Stephen; niece Jony Harding in Creston, WV and her children Joseph, Tiffany, Megan former wife Arlene Peahota.
Barry attended Mastbaum High School class of 1965. Subsequently he was accepted to Penn States school of engineering where he earned a degree of engineering class of 1969. Barry Served in the Air Force reserves for 4 years. Upon graduation Barry gained employment with the government in the Federal Communications Commission. He continued to provide solutions to the many challenges which plagued his department for 40 years, up until retirement.
Barry loved family, friends and the outdoors. His favorite pastimes were skiing, golf and travel. For those that knew Barry best would speak to his love of family. Barry would quickly into a conversation have an unquenchable curiosity of how his loved ones are doing. This would also be true also for his love of animals. Barry was caring and those who knew him best would describe him as a benevolent spirit.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Givnish of Maple Shade, 600 East Main Street, on Tuesday, January 31st, from 9 am to 10:30 am. A service will begin at 10:30 am and will be live streamed on the following link: https://www.viewlogies.net/givnish/Cc0753gmf?pin=701773, followed by interment in Colestown Cemetery, Cherry Hill.
