Obituary
Stephen Raymond Gohr, 75, of Chambersburg, PA went to be with the Lord on September. 4, 2015 in Daytona Beach, FL. He was born in Trenton, NJ on April 25, 1940 to the late Stephen and Frances Gohr. He was a graduate of Mastbaum H. S. in Philadelphia and held bachelors, masters and doctorate degrees in theology, served 7 years in the U.S. Navy and pastored several Baptist Churches. He was an author, Bible teacher, enjoyed oil painting, bowling, watching the Phillies and Eagles and spending time with his family and friends. He married Carolyne Freed Gohr on May 6, 1967 in Philadelphia. He is survived by his wife, daughter Lisa Harman (Troy), son Stephen Robert Gohr, daughter Lyne Kohr (Michael), grandsons Daniel, Stephen, Samuel and Benjamin, brother Ronald Gohr, and sisters Sandra Donahue (Rusty) and Frances Sayre. Memorial service on September 20 at 2 pm at Chambersburg Bible Church. Private military burial on September 21 at Fort Indiantown Gap. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Gideons International.

I remember Steve well from our Radio-Television classes. We usually sat next to each other and shared notes. We certainly took different career paths, I stayed in electronics and he went on the serve the Lord.
