Matthew R. Corney, Sr. of Bensalem, PA, passed away on Monday, May 30, 2016 at Aria-Torresdale Hospital. He was 76. He was the son of the late Frank and Mary (Bradley) Corney and was preceded in death by his daughter, Barbara-Ann Corney and his three brothers, Frank, Al and John Corney. Matthew was retired from the Philadelphia Police Department and was currently working at Westbrook, Inc., in Croydon. He was a member of the Tacony Lodge 600, F&AM and enjoyed studying geneology. Surviving is his wife, Rosemary (Pearce) Corney; his children, Sandy Lamb (Jim) of Bensalem and Matt Corney of Lemoore, CA; four grandchildren, Mike, Sean, Casie and Jimmy; two great-grandchildren, Sean and Ryder, and his two cairn-terriers, Mia and Molly.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Matthew's Life Celebration on Friday starting at 9:30am at Dunn-Givnish of Langhorne, 378 S. Bellevue Ave., Langhorne, PA and to participate in his Funeral Service at 11:00am. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
