WILLIAM GILL OBITUARY

GILL, WILLIAM F. SR. 75 - of Seaville, (formerly of Philadelphia) went to be with His Lord and Savior Saturday, June 26, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer without one complaint. Beloved husband of Marlene M. Gill (Eberhart) of 55 years. Loving father of Debbie Lepone, William F. Gill Jr., Kevin Gill (Carla), Mark Gill (Joanne), and Christopher Gill (Nancy). Proud grandfather of 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren whom he loved with all his heart. Bill was predeceased by his parents William and Genevieve Gill (Clunen), and siblings Patrick Gill, John Gill and Richard Gill. He is survived by siblings Florence Muller, Jean Gearhart, Robert Gill, James Gill, Patricia Williams and Gary Gill. Bill was born and raised in Philadelphia, he graduated from Mastbaum Technical School in 1952. A skilled and dedicated worker, Bill was employed by the School District of Philadelphia for 35 years, retiring as Director of Facilities in 1988. After retiring Bill relocated to the Jersey Shore where he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. A man of strong faith, Bill was a former member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Mayfair, and a current member of First Baptist Church of Cape May. Bill will be most remembered for his faith, love of his family, work ethic, and of course his loyalty to the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Friday 9:30-11 AM at St. John Lutheran Church Tyson Ave and Hawthorne Ave, Phila, PA 19149, followed by his funeral service 11:00 AM. Interment Forest Hills Cemetery. No viewing Thursday evening. In lieu of flowers contributions in his memory maybe made to The Love of Linda Cancer Fund, P.O. Box 1053 Wildwood, NJ 08260. John F.
