Life Legacy
Alma D. (Wray) Hale, 83, of Perkasie, PA, passed away suddenly Saturday, December 16, 2017, at her residence.
Born March 19, 1934, in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late William J. and Anna (Oestreich) Wray. She was a graduate of Mastbaum High School, Philadelphia, PA.
Alma was a member of the Generations of Indian Valley Senior Center, Souderton, PA. She enjoyed their trips, luncheons and dinners. She was also a volunteer for the Meals on Wheels program and was a lunch server. She was also a member of the Red Hatters. Alma enjoyed traveling, gardening, doll collecting, and reading. She was also quite the joker. If you had the pleasure of meeting her, you wouldn't forget her. She loved seeing people smile.
Alma is survived by a daughter, Kathleen Ann Upgrin, of St. Joseph, MN; a son, James Carl Schlief, of Monticello, MN; three sisters, Dolores Bishop, Anna Thomas and Dorothy Wray; a brother, Thomas Wray; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and stepchildren.
A "Celebration of Life Tribute" to be held by family.
